Carmichael Resident Elected President of CalCPA Sacramento
David R. Motes, CPA, of Carmichael has been elected president of the Sacramento chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2008 – 09. Motes succeeds Conrad M. Davis, CPA, a forensic accountant with Ueltzen & Co.
The CalCPA Sacramento Chapter serves more than 2,100 members in Alpine, Amador, Sacramento and Solano counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
A sole practitioner in Sacramento, Motes previously was the chapter’s vice president. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Sacramento.
Joining Motes on the board of the CalCPA Sacramento chapter are Patrick D. Rogan (vice president), a sole practitioner in Elk Grove; David R. Chavez (secretary/treasurer) of Rossmann MacDonald & Benetti, Sacramento; and Rick A. Harrison (bulletin editor) of ProHorizons.
