CalCPA San Francisco Chapter Elects New President
Jerry Sample, CPA, of San Francisco has been elected president of the San Francisco Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2008 – 09. Sample succeeds Kathy Yu-Liu, CPA, of Louis Raphael, Brisbane.
The CalCPA San Francisco Chapter serves more than 3,500 members in San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino and Humboldt counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
The owner of Paladin Accountancy, Sample previously served as the chapter’s first vice president. His firm provides tax preparation and planning services for individuals and businesses as well as business secession and estate planning.
Joining Sample on the board of the CalCPA San Francisco Chapter are Jamshed B. Gandi (first vice president) of Bertorelli, Gandi, Won & Behti, San Francisco; Karen D. Pfau-Martinez (second vice president) of Burr, Pilger & Mayer LLP, San Francisco; Laura L. Ross (secretary) of Harb, Levy & Weiland LLP, San Francisco; S. Scott Seamands (treasurer) of Lindquist, Von Husen & Joyce LLP, San Francisco.
