CPA Denise Patterson Elected President of CalCPA Fresno Chapter

Dr. Denise M. Patterson, CPA, of California State University, Fresno, has been elected president of the Fresno Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2008 – 09. Patterson succeeds Adrienne L. Cantrell, CPA, of Baker, Peterson & Franklin.

The CalCPA Fresno Chapter serves more than 950 members in Fresno, Inyo, Tulare, Kings and Madera counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

An accounting professor at CSUF’s Craig School of Business, Patterson previously served as the chapter’s vice president.

Patterson holds four degrees in business administration: associate, Edison Community College, Fort Myers, Fla.; bachelor, Stetson University, DeLand, Fla.; master, University of Central Florida, Orlando; and doctorate, Georgia State University, Atlanta.

Joining Patterson the board of the CalCPA Fresno Chapter are Sheryl M. Yardumian (vice president) of Noell Agnew & Morse, LLP, Fresno; Elaine D. Reule (secretary) of M. Green and Co., LLP, Tulare; and Jodi M. Rolih (treasurer) of Hemming Morse Inc. CPAs, Fresno.
