Stockton CPA Elected President Of CalCPA San Joaquin Chapter

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Tara Eastwood, a Stockton CPA, has been elected president of the San Joaquin Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2007 – 08. Eastwood succeeds Mark J. Croce, CPA, of Stockton.
Previously Eastwood was the chapter’s vice president.

The CalCPA San Joaquin Chapter serves more than 600 members in Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, Mono, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tuolumne counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

A resident of Lockeford, Eastwood is a senior manager at Bowman & Co, Stockton. The firm provides tax planning and preparation, auditing, investment advising, business valuations and other services to businesses and individuals.

Eastwood has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from San Diego State University.
Joining Eastwood on the board of the CalCPA San Joaquin Chapter are Michelle E. Mord (vice president) and Christine Stiles (secretary-treasurer), both of Schmidt, Bettencourt & Medeiros, Turlock.
