Forensic Accountant Elected President of CalCPA Sacramento
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Conrad Davis, CPA, a Sacramento forensic accountant, has been elected president of the Sacramento chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2007 – 08. Davis succeeds Gregory Verdon, CPA, of Rancho Murieta.
Previously Davis was the chapter’s vice president.
The CalCPA Sacramento Chapter serves about 2,000 members in Alpine, Amador, Sacramento and Solano counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
Davis is a partner in the firm of Ueltzen & Co. The firm provides forensic consulting services as well as financial statement attestations, tax planning and tax compliance services.
A certified fraud examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Davis has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science and management from the University of California, Davis, and a master’s in taxation from Golden Gate University.
Davis serves as chair of the finance committee for the Fremont Presbyterian Church.
Joining Davis on the board of the CalCPA Sacramento chapter are David R. Motes (vice president) of Motes & Evans, Sacramento, and Patrick Rogan (secretary/treasurer) of Cosumnes River College.
