CPA Robert Anderson Elected President Of CalCPA East Bay Chapter
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Robert Y. Anderson, CPA, of Concord has been elected president of the East Bay Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2007 – 08. Anderson succeeds Robert A. Johnston, CPA, of Walnut Creek.
Previously Anderson was the chapter’s first vice president and program director.
The CalCPA East Bay Chapter serves more than 2,000 members in Alameda, Napa and Contra Costa counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
A partner in the firm of Burr, Pilger and Mayer, Walnut Creek, Anderson specializes in tax and wealth management services for entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals. He is a certified financial planner, a personal financial specialist and a certified valuation analyst.
Anderson has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Azusa Pacific University and a master’s in taxation from Golden Gate University.
Joining Anderson on the board of the CalCPA East Bay Chapter are Michele C. Day (first vice president and program director) of Michele C. Day, CPA, Dublin; Joelyn K. Carr-Fingerle (second vice president and treasurer) of Joelyn K. Carr-Fingerle, CPA, Fremont; and G. Scott Haislet (secretary) of G. Scott Haislet, Lafayette.
