San Luis Obispo CPA Elected President Of CalCPA Central Coast Chapter

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — San Luis Obispo CPA Debra Wacker has been elected president of the Central Coast Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2006 – 07. Wacker succeeds Kathleen O’Connor, CPA, of Paso Robles.

 

The CalCPA Central Coast Chapter serves more than 300 members in San Luis ObispoCounty and northern Santa BarbaraCounty. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

 

Wacker provides tax and accounting services to individuals and small businesses. For the past 16 years, she has been a part-time accounting lecturer at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

 

Wacker has a bachelor’s degree in business administration (accounting) from CaliforniaStateUniversity, Sacramento, and a master’s in business administration from Cal Poly. She is a volunteer with several local organizations, including Junior Achievement and the French Hospital Volunteer Guild.

Joining Wacker on the board of the CalCPA Central Coast Chapter are S. Dana Senes (vice president) of GBP&B Tax and Business Advisors, San Luis Obispo; Tania Arnold (secretary) of Radakovich & Shaw LLP, San Luis Obispo; and Michael Roxbrough (treasurer) of Roy & O’Connor, Paso Robles.
