Timothy Good New President Of CalCPA Los Angeles Chapter

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Timothy J. Good, CPA, of Palos Verdes Estates has been elected president of the 8,600-member Los Angeles chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2006 – 07. Good succeeds Geoffrey Bremer, CPA, of Manhattan Beach.

 

Previously Good was the chapter’s first vice president.

 

The CalCPA Los Angeles chapter serves CPAs who specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

 

Good is a partner in the Torrance firm of Windes & McClaughry. He specializes in tax issues facing middle market companies and their owners.

 

Good has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in taxation from Golden Gate University. He is the treasurer for South Bay Special Olympics.

 

Joining Good on the board of the CalCPA Los Angeles Chapter are Violeta D. Cristobal (first vice president) of Cristobal & Co., Los Angeles; James T. Gellas (vice president) of Rothstein Kass, Los Angeles; John Samore III (vice president), True Partners Consulting LLP, Los Angeles; Jeanne M. Berry (secretary) of JMS Financial Services, Burbank; and Dan W. Delaney (treasurer/budget chair) of Wilner & Orneda Accountancy, Encino.
