Stockton CPA Elected President Of CalCPA San Joaquin Chapter

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Mark J. Croce, a Stockton CPA, has been elected president of the San Joaquin Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2006 – 07. Croce succeeds Lisa Silva, CPA, of Modesto.

 

Previously Croce was the chapter’s vice president.

 

The CalCPA San Joaquin Chapter serves more than 600 members in Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, Mono, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tuolumne counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

 

A resident of Linden, Croce is a shareholder in the firm of Croce & Co., a Stockton accountancy corporation that provides attestation, income tax planning and compliance, estate planning and other services to businesses and individuals.

Prior to joining Croce & Co, Croce was a senior accountant for Ernst & Young in San Jose. He has a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Santa ClaraUniversity.

 

Joining Croce on the board of the CalCPA San Joaquin Chapter is Tara E. Eastwood (vice president) of Bowman & Co., Stockton, and Michelle E. Mord (secretary-treasurer) of Schmidt, Bettencourt & Medeiros, Turlock.
