Sacramento CPA Elected President of California CPA Education Foundation
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Sacramento CPA Beverly Brautigam has been elected president of the California CPA Education Foundation.
The Education Foundation provides quality continuing education and information to CPAs, other accounting professionals and professionals in related fields.
Brautigam, who also is a personal financial specialist, leads a board of trustees that meets quarterly to set policies, strategies, goals and financial parameters for the foundation.
Brautigam’s firm, Brautigam Financial Services, provides tax, financial, estate, retirement and business planning services. It also assists in divorce litigation.
Brautigam has been a tax instructor with the foundation since 1976 and has earned awards for her materials and for instructor excellence. Since 1985 she has taught a class about the tax consequences of marital dissolution.
Brautigam is a trustee of the Rotary Club of Sacramento Foundation and a member of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council. She is a past member of the board for KVIE.
A resident of Elk Grove, Brautigam has a master’s degree in business administration (taxation) from Golden Gate University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Fullerton.
