At CalCPA, we're committed to inspiring the next generation of accounting professionals and supporting them throughout their careers.
We’re working with stakeholders across the profession to tell more compelling stories about being a CPA, make it more accessible to diverse students, remove obstacles along the career journey, and facilitate a welcoming, supportive workplace culture. Part of those efforts include forming the CalCPA California Pipeline Advisory Group to evaluate and provide feedback on potential licensure and regulatory framework changes.
Our CalCPA Institute also is leading these efforts with innovative strategies and programs that welcome and prepare the next generation for successful accounting and finance careers.
While there’s still uncertainty about what changes will happen or when, we’re making sure California is ready to act quickly to support our members and the public. We encourage you to explore the following resources on CPA licensure proposals, current discussions, how CalCPA is involved and opportunities for you to share your input.
